The welfare of our seniors is an essential part of a strong community.
Basic Services
Seniors Services offers information and referral services on a variety of interagency programs:
- Canada Pension Plan;
- Old Age Security;
- Grants for federal and Provincial income supplements;
- Alberta Seniors Benefits
- Seniors Blue Cross, and;
- Volunteer Income Tax Program.
- Seniors Advocate
Assistance in basic information and filling out forms are provided at our office.
In case of a problem or concern with benefits or services, the Seniors worker will advocate on the senior’s or family’s behalf.

There is a published monthly Seniors Calendar which includes activities run by our Senior's coordinator and events lined up for you by Pioneer Trail.
Pioneer Trail Seniors Activity Center
We also support the work of the Pioneer Trail Seniors Activity Center for seniors in our community.
Located at 160 - 3rd Avenue West, you will find a a great variety of recreational activities that aim to engage seniors and provide opportunities to socialize.
