The Town of Drumheller is seeking an enthusiastic and industrious individual for the position of Facility Attendant in Training Temporary position.

Position Summary: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining Town recreation and administrative facilities and buildings.

Hours per Week:  Shift work & weekends, on call as required.

Pay Scale:    $25.61 per hour.

Benefits: As per the Town’s HR policy and CUPE 135 Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications:

     • Bondable

     • Minimum Class 5 license

     • Grade 12 or equivalent

     • A good knowledge regarding operation of industrial refrigeration systems would be an asset

     • Preference given to those individuals with direct experience in the plumbing field, and

        troubleshooting controls and maintenance of HVAC systems, as well as a good understanding

        of pressure vessels, their processes,limits and controls with hot water and steam boiler

        systems

     • Perform other duties as required

     • Successful applicant will be required to respond within 30 minutes during on call rotation

The Town of Drumheller is seeking individuals to fill the Casual Activity Specialist positions at the Badlands Community Facility.

Position Summary:  The Casual Activity Specialist will provide customer and member services, ensure the facility is clean and presentable, and facilitate activities for members and clients of the Badlands Community Facility.

Employment Category:  Casual

Hours per Week:  May vary

Pay Scale: $15.78 - $18.32

Benefits: As per the Town’s HR Policy and CUPE 4604 Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Education and Experience:  Minimum sixteen years of age.  Previous experience with customer service, handling of cash, sports, and recreational activities would be considered assets.  Must have valdi First Aid and CPR certification.
